Superb! Good use of storytelling. Uses movement very effectively e.g. to misdirect. Energy level is very stable. He is able to hold my interest without making a lot of noise or quick moves. Both examples in this case are close-up magic (with the added theft of the painting!). I think he is playing for wonder and amazement. The magic seems very in keeping with his character. Straight up but a little mysterious. Feels like you should be able to trust him, but his character is a bit suspicious! I really enjoyed both performances.
