The Bob King shuffle is fantastic and very fooling! (If I do it in the mirror, I’m completely fooled even though I know what I’m doing!)

In the course of practising the shuffle, I notice I prefer a slight variation which I’ve illustrated in the video below. I prefer to throw the last packet on the top of the deck. If the last packet goes to the bottom, it may appear I’m preserving the bottom stock. So rather than throw the “lift shuffle stock” on the top and the last packet (the bottom of the deck) on the bottom, I am throwing the bottom of the deck to the bottom (looks like it’s coming from the top), and throwing the final packet (the lift shuffle stock – which looks like the bottom of the deck) on the top. This reverses the order of the last two steps of the shuffle so that the final packet goes on the top of the deck.

Dang I had to watch the video twice and it still confused me if I didn’t know the Bob King shuffle I would 100 percent not suspect a false shuffle.

Excellent Mark – thanks for sharing.

This looks very convincing – looks like a regular/clean shuffle at speed.

As Eddie has mentioned, it looks great when you get the hang of it however it is a very difficult shuffle to analyse/explain move by move when one tries to break it down.

I think I’ve now figured it out so will practice more to build up speed.

            Thanks again.

            Best regards

            Andrew
